Jakub Warzych

MSc student at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, focusing on audio and video deepfake recognition.

I earned an engineering degree in Telecommunications at WUST in January 2026. My engineering thesis investigated how telecom channels and codecs affect human ability to recognize synthetic speech and voice clones. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Computer Science while working as a Software Tester at Nokia. My academic interests include acoustics, telecommunications, and computer science, with a focus on objective and subjective methods for audio and video deepfake recognition. Beyond engineering, I am also interested in game design – both digital and tabletop. I also conduct independent hobbyist research in this area, focusing on gameplay mechanics and interactive media technologies.

This is not a picture of Jakub Warzych but it's a very handsome placeholder
